27 Jul 2007 Chapter Meeting @ Dover

Theresa Groyon, Vice President (Education)1. playing host! [President Poh Lian was away for another important mission:=))] Theresa inspired the audience with her Opening & Closing speech. She ended her closing speech with very appropriate advice...

District 80 Table Topics Champion Ang Swee Thian, an Auditor by profession, making it work for you! See..I told you he was good...did you remember his main message? Please take this back with you ... master one technique first then proceed to the next.... OK! He has shared many good points but cannot remember. Will bring him back for a full workshop later on. [A District 80 Champion is one who wins a district contest, which includes these four countries: Singapore, Macau, HongKong and Thailand!]

Koh Chung King in his maiden role as "Toastmaster of the Evening". Awarded an "A-" grade! [The "A" for being humorous; setting a high standard and doing a good job. The minus for not wearing a tie! If you can't fault him, a missing tie counts :=))]. Let's get him to do again, shall we?

Ah.....Andrew Goh in his usual animated self, attempting to convince the audience that his body movements are relevant! Good job Andrew! But your project is about vocal variety :=))

Shirley Lam....Best Table Topic Speaker. Quietly, she sits and evidently a witty, sincere and emotionally charge impromptu speaker. Majullah Singapura!!! Richard and Shirley...what a loving pair from Thomson CC TMC...always together...that's what life is all about.

The Evaluators...as intense as a flock of hawks ready to strike! Kelvin Thiang, an MOE school teacher by profession and a very experience communication practitioner won the "Best Evaluator Award" for evaluating Tan Kay Chuan.
