2007/08 ITE Toastmasters Exco Installed

The 2007/08 ITE Toastmasters Club Executive Committee Members were installed by Division B Governor William Lim, DTM last night, 26 Jul 2007. (Above picture on the new team. SAA was overseas.)

Image showed Theresa Groyon, CC presenting her inaugural speech to the audience. She thanked the outgoing president Yeo Poh Lian, CL for her strong leadership and excellent performance for us to emulate. Theresa urge ITE Toastmasters to support her like we did for Poh Lian.

The evening also marked the 1st chapter meeting of the 2007/08 session. It was a new experience for the observers Jasmine and Choon Chiat who spoke during the table topic segment. Both displayed their courage to go on stage. How was the feeling? "Very Nervous!" said Jasmine. Well, Jasmine, that's your first step taken for a journey ahead. Join us and you'll learn more strategy to speak with confidence.

Tan Kay Chuan (Patron, ITE TMC) did a great job to anchor the Toastmaster of the evening role. Three prepared speeches were presented by ITE Toastmasters. The winner for best prepared speech was Yeo Poh Lian, CL for her AP1 speech, from the advance Entertaining Speaker manual. The best table topic speaker goes to Theresa Groyon, CC and the best evaluator went to Johnny Teo, CL from NTU Alumni TMC.
