Eng Kai and Siva Participated in the 2010 Area B4 International Speech & Table Topics Contest

Siva and Eng Kai participated in the 2010 Area B4 International Speech and Table Topics Contest held on 27 Feb 2010 @ SIM (Namly). Poh Lian, our VPPR & supporter, did a silent evaluation for Eng Kai's prepared speech during the contest. The only other supporter was Ong Lye Sum, IPP, who was busy on duty as SAA (helping to place clip-on mike on contestants).


Area B4 International Speech Contest
Eng Kai, our VPE, gave his best performance. Although he was not placed, he spoke confidently. His speech on "Language Disease" was humorous and informative.

Siva, our President, spoke on "You Have a Choice". He related on how each one of us have a choice in conflict situations. He structured his speech based on 3 personal stories. He emerged as 1st runner-up. The Champion was Chan Wee Yang & 2nd runner-up was Sean Loke.

Area B4 Table Topics Contest
The topic was "Leadership is the capacity to turn vision into reality. Both Eng Kai & Siva spoke about their experience as leaders in the ITE TMC Exco. However, both were not placed. The Champion was Chua Poh Suan, 1st runner-up Chan Wee Yang & 2nd runner-up Sean Loke.
