I would like to thank the outgoing Exco for their excellent leadership provided to ITE Toastmasters Club & achieving Distinguished Club Award for the term 2008/09.
The new team met on Sat 4 Jul 09 to chart the direction for the Toastmasters term (Jul 09 to Jun 10). We've started on a strong & positive note. Just like to mention 2 of the items discussed as follows.
In addition to rotating monthly (4th Wed) chapter meetings within College West (Dover Campus)/HQ, College Central (Bishan Campus) & College Central (Tampines Campus), we are exploring the possibility of including College Central (MacPherson Campus) due to 3 new members signing up with us from the campus.
We are also looking into the Challenge of holding one Lunch Hours meeting during Campus Vacation and another just after Lunch Hours for the next Campus Vacation. Hopefully, more Guests will be able to attend to observe & spark their interest to sign up.
Guest HandoutFor Guests (staff & alumni who are non-members), they'll be given a Guest Handout at the chapter meeting. The Handout includes info about meeting roles, who's eligible to join, membership fees structure, membership application form, where to send the completed form & payment, etc. We'll work on improving the Handout based on feedback provided by the Guests.
We have a very enthusiatic and motivated Exco team. It is my privilege to work with a team who is willing to learn & try out new things.
