7th Chapter Meeting at CC Boardroom on 16 Jan 2013

ITE Toastmasters Club 7th Chapter Meeting was held at ITE HQ Board Room. It was the very first time we had it in our new mega campus at Ang Mo Kio.

Leonard took on the role of Sergeant-At-Arms for the first time and performed well. Though there was not a whiteboard available, the projector screen was used in place of whiteboard.

Poh Lian was the Toastmaster of the Day. It was impressive that she held a dual role, being President and TMD at the same time. The transition was interesting when she welcomed herself as President to give opening address, and handed over the control of the meeting back to herself as TMD.

Prepared Speeches

James Low gave his maiden toastmasters speech (Project 1). He presented with confidence and charisma, with the potential of a great speaker
Cheng Chuan presented Project 3, Detox Your Brain. We are all inspired by his presentation.
Finally, Kay Chuan presented Project 10, Bear the Unchangeable, Change the Unbearable. He uses many stories to inspire us. Upon completion of this project, he achieved the title of Competent Communicator!
