9th Chapter Meeting on 20 Mar 2013 at College East, Business Lounge

The 9th Chapter Meeting has successfully completed on 20 Mar 2013. Below are the highlights of the happenings during the meeting:

Poh Lian was the Sergeant-at-arms.

Gogi was the Toastmaster of the Evening.
He's a seasoned emcee for BIG events, hence no problem for him! He injects several personal stories and jokes along the way to keep the meeting lively...

Kay Chuan was the Table Topics Master.
It has been a long time since his last role as TTM....All the topics are profound with wisdom..

We have 3 guests in the meeting:
1) Sim Boon Heng
2) Trevor Chee
3) Terence (last minute walk-in guest from Incubation Center, we appreciate it!)

Cheng Hee (we just know he's Sam) presented his prepared speech on Project 4 from Competent Communication Manual - Happy Birthday (using his Ukelele...)

Nicodemus presented his first project from Speak to Inform Manual-The StoryTeller

Cheng Chuan was the Ah Counter for the first time, reporting our pause fillers!

Eng Kai was the Timer. He almost missed Cheng Hee's timing as his speech is very engaging. Luckily Gogi was looking at his watch and helped out.

Sau Ying (Visiting Toastmaster from NUSS TMC) evaluated Sam's project.

Michael Wee (Visting Toastmaster from Tampines Changkat Advanced TMC) evaluated Nico's project.

Poh Lian won the best table topics.

At the end of the meeting, all 3 guests decided to sign up as members! Congratulations to all of us!
